FALMOUTH Town and Helston Athletic will face off in the first round of the Walter C Parson Funeral Directors League Cup next season.

While the draw represents a tough test for both teams, it arguably becomes more difficult for the winners, who will travel to cup holders St Austell in the second round.

Porthleven also have a tricky first round tie at Premier Division new boys Sticker. Were they to come through that one, they would then visit mid-Cornwall giants Bodmin Town.

Penryn have a repeat of this season's Charity Cup semi-final when they take on Illogan RBL at Kernick Road. Victory in that match would set up a trip to Godolphin or Wadebridge.

Wendron Utd will entertain higher league Camelford in the first round and if successful, will make the short trip to either Ludgvan or Mousehole, who will play out a fascinating west Cornwall derby in round 1.

In other ties, Penzance host St Blazey, while SWPL Premier champions Tavistock entertain either Ivybridge or Bovey Tracey in the second round.

Ties to be played no later than September 16, while the second round must be completed by October 14.
