THE venue for the Charity Cup final between Penryn and Sticker will be confirmed next week.
The date will be Wednesday, May 10 and it will be Penryn's second appearance in the final in three years after their 3-2 victory after extra time against Illogan at Porthleven on Tuesday evening.
Illogan took an early lead through Joe Carlyon but a superb strike from Ollie Moody levelled matters before half time.
The teams couldn't be separated in normal time but two quickfire goals in extra time from Luke Brabyn and Ryan Reeve secured Penryn's path to the final, despite a late consolation from the Oxland Parc outfit.
Wendron and Sticker played out a pulsating semi-final at Helston on Wednesday, after floodlight failure at Penryn on Tuesday evening meant that the match had to be switched to Kellaway Park.
Wendron had the better of the first half and scored a deserved opener through Callum Heath, who calmly side-footed into the far corner just after the half hour mark.
Joe Chapman and Jack Noy also had good chances in the first period, but Dan Stedman also produced a splendid save low to his right to deny Andrew Butler an equaliser.
Sticker demonstrated why they are the runaway league leaders in SWPL Division 1 West with an impressive display of pace and power in the second half.
Sam Kenny's fine downward header levelled matters on the hour mark and substitute Matt Lloyd then headed home a drilled corner by Mike Body.
Frank McAvoy then curled a delicious 20-yard effort into the top corner to put Sticker in command, but a brilliant finger-tip save from Andy Avery denied Wendron's Tom Langford a goal, which would have set up a thrilling finish.
