Young footballers at Truro based Grasshopper FC are taking to the pitch this season in a brand new kit, sponsored by Dales Cornwall. The club that was established 10 years ago, plays in the Kernow League and helps both boys and girls from the age of 7 into the game.
After Sales Director for Dales Cornwall, Simon Peters, said: “Dales is a family run business and we are delighted to be able to support a family orientated club, that does so much for encouraging young people into the game.
"I believe it is vitally important to support grass roots clubs, because you could be on the verge of finding the next English soccer star.”
Dales Cornwall was established more than 70 years ago and is proud of its family values and it’s connections with the local communities around its dealerships in Summercourt, Scorrier, Falmouth and Threemilestone.
Manager of the Under 14s at Grasshoppers FC, Jacqui Lewis, said: “Most businesses, that are family run, understand how important it is to support young people and their local sports clubs. I am delighted that we have been able to team up with Dales Cornwall and I would like to say a massive thank you once again for their support.”
