This week's predictions could prove fruitless if this filthy spell of weather continues, but we can scarcely complain, as winter has been very kind to us so far.

SWPL Premier Saltash Utd v Falmouth Town - Town have been in free scoring form since Christmas, but they haven't kept too many clean sheets either. League leaders Saltash huffed and puffed in breaking down a resilient Helston side last week and I have a feeling the pressure may just be starting to mount.

Saltash Utd 2, Falmouth Town 2 Plymouth Parkway v Helston Athletic - Helston have several of last week's missing squad returning. Parkway, under new management, have won only one of their last four, but two of the three defeats were against Saltash and St Austell.

Parkway 3, Helston 1 Charity Cup quarter-finals Polperro v Penryn Athletic - Polperro is not the easiest place to go (as a player I can't ever actually remember winning there). It'll be windy, they'll be bang up for it and Penryn will have to find a bit of star quality to take them through. Over to you Brabyn and Broglino.....

Polperro 0, Penryn Ath 1 Mousehole v Wendron Utd - The wheels were apparently going to fly off Mousehole's season after news of an exodus to Penzance, but they have done brilliantly well to not only draw with St Dennis and Penryn, but then beat Holsworthy 4-1 on Saturday. Wendron too, are also showing signs of improvement and this one is too close to call.

Mousehole 2, Wendron 3 (aet)
