Cornish Pirates return to Championship action with a visit to Ealing Trailfinders tomorrow.

The kick-off at Vallis Way is at 2pm.

The Trailfinders are presently third in the league table and the Pirates eighth, so yet another tough game is expected, as was the case when the teams drew 31-all at the Mennaye Field, Penzance, in September.

Eight players in all make a return to the starting XV, namely full-back Toby May, wing Kyle Moyle, centre Nicolas De Battista, half-backs Laurence May and Stuart Townsend, lock Brett Beukeboom, and back-rowers Sam Simmonds and Tom Duncan.

Joint Coach Gavin Cattle has commented: “We have gone back to the drawing board a bit this week and also looked at tactics, which will hopefully put us in good stead for this weekend against a very good Ealing Trailfinders team.

“With able personnel the Trailfinders have quickly developed and through their recruitment also have a strong set-piece, which is an area where we will need to compete.”
