Culdrose Youth Football Club's head coach Chris Fairey (Level 3 – UEFA B, FA Youth Award 3) and

Matt Annis (Level 2, FA Youth Award 3) have passed their FA Youth Award Assessment.

It was awarded by the FA Coach Developer for Cornwall, Chris Morris, the former Republic of Ireland and Celtic defender.

Chris Fairey said: "This is one of the highest achievements in Grassroots football to be attained. A lot of hard work has been put in over 12 months along with support days at the club, under close scrutiny from Chris Morris. We are both highly delighted and it puts together a very good coaching pyramid at Culdrose Youth FC for future developments of all our coaches."

Matt heads up the development centres at both Truro and Camborne, whilst Chris aspires to be an FA Mentor

in the near future, bringing his vast experience to the Helston area to help support local coaches with the development of the boys and girls in their clubs.
