Falmouth Town and Sticker will contest their first ever Senior Cup meeting at Bickland Park tomorrow.

The last time Town's first team played the mid-Cornwall side was in a pre-season friendly in 2005, when Mike Body (2) and Gary Wheildon were on the scoresheet for Falmouth.

Wheildon, who recently celebrated his 40th birthday, had three spells at Bickland Park between 1996 and 2006, making 87 appearances and scoring 11 goals.

Since then he has a successful managerial career with Veryan F C with four successive promotions in the Duchy League, before becoming Sticker's assistant manager at the start of this season.

Tomorrow they will both be part of the Sticker squad which has produced a splendid run of five straight victories without conceding a goal in Division 1 West. They sit second in the table, hot on the heels of champions Mousehole.

The last competitive match between the sides was back in 1994, when an Andy Waddell hat-trick gave Town a 3-1 win in the St Austell Brewery Challenge Cup.

Falmouth's form coming into this match is rather patchy. Apart from a 6-4 home victory over winless St Blazey last week, they have failed to win any of their previous five matches.

They drew 1-1 with Camelford on Wednesday after Mark Gusterton's 55th minute goal cancelled out Rob Wearne's effort three minutes into the second half.

Skipper Joe Cooper was later sent off for the home side, while Tom Annear earlier had to withdraw after 23 minutes through injury.

Falmouth's recent record in the Senior Cup is desperate - they have been knocked out in the first round in the past four seasons.

Their last victory was in 2011-12, winning 3-0 at Saltash in the quarter-final before being disqualified for fielding an ineligible player in Jamie Mudge.

In other ties tomorrow, Paul Murray will take charge of Penryn in his first game as the new manager. They host Launceston.

Wendron will be aiming to cause another cup upset when they entertain Camelford. Helston visit Wadebridge.

All ties kick off at 2pm.
