PENRYN Athletic celebrated their end of season presentation night at Kernick Road last week.

David Broglino bagged top spot with sportsman of the year award and also voted best first team player with 20 goals from midfield.

David Blizzard was named as the first team supporters' player of the year.

Penryn have been lucky to have a great crop of young players coming through and this recognised with 18-year-old Liam Jarvis winning the best Combination League player award for the club. Centre half Elliot Jorey was named as the best supporters' player.

Trelawny League Division 1 champions Penryn thirds named Matt Willey as their best player and their skipper Liam Davies was best supporters' player.

Most promising player was won by Kyle Cooke, with his massive goals tally of 42 goals from 42 games.

Clubman of the year went to Penryn third team manager Scott Roberts, for winning two consecutive Trelawny League titles.

Guests of honour on the night were Penryn mayor Mark Snowdon and one of Penryn's most respected centre halves, Robert Riley, who played 20 seasons for the club.
