IF Helston Athletic owned a team bus it would probably need a good service after this month's fixtures.

The Blues have already been to Torpoint and Tavistock in recent weeks. On Saturday they were spared another long haul to Ivybridge, but they're back on the road again this weekend for the Walter Parsons Cup clash at Teignmouth.

Taylor said: "We also had to go to Saltash in the Senior Cup, so we've had a difficult run, but we know that points are tough to earn against anyone in this league.

Helston will set off at 10.30am on Saturday and to sweeten the pill of the long journey, they are going to have a team night out in Torquay after the match.

"It'll be a good bonding session. We don't know much about Teignmouth apart from the fact that they're second in Division 1 East, so we'll need to be tight for the first 20 minutes and then we can start playing our football."

The postponed match in Ivybridge has enabled Jamie Thirkle (hamstring), Matt Fox (calf) and Jordan Adlard (knee) to be a week fitter and Taylor hopes all three will be in the squad. Jason Robertson and Phil Cattran are also both available.

Falmouth Town also have a long trip, as they visit Plymouth Parkway for a SWPL Premier Division fixture. Their home game with Cullompton was postponed on Saturday, as was last Tuesday's league match at Newquay.

In Division 1 West, bragging rights will be up for grabs when Penryn make the short trip to Wendron. Both teams were involved in 3-2 results with last minute goals in the Charity Cup on Saturday. Wendron came out on top at home to Millbrook thanks to a Max Bowden winner, but Penryn went down in extra time at Sticker.
