A JUNIOR football team are delighted after getting the backing of a well known firm based in Falmouth.
Ocean BMW have agreed to sponsor Falmouth United Rangers' Under 13s side for the season with their company logo appearing on the kit.
Team manager Tony Jewell, who also works at for the firm, said it was a privilege to have the sponsorship.
Jewell said: "The boys are very proud of it because not many football teams have the a logo like BMW's on their kit.
"It is such a big brand and it is great to have a company like this supporting a local team."
On Sunday, the team played their first match of the season and defeated Threemilestone 5-2.
They were 2-0 down not long after the start of the second half, but two goals each from Kieran Jewell and Isaac Gillow plus another scored by Archie Caban saw them complete a fantastic turnaround.
"Nothing had been going our way for most of the match," Jewell said.
"But then the boys seemed to wake up and once they got one, the confidence grew and it was wonderful to see the reaction."
