NEIL Stanleick is the latest signing to be made by the Cornish Pirates as part of their Player Development Foundation.

The back row forward has agreed a deal which sees him join the Greene King IPA Championship side for the 2015/16 season from Camborne.

It marks a return to the club for the 20-year-old as he used to be a member of the Pirates' youth section.

Before signing for Camborne last summer, Stanleick played for St Ives and has been part of the Cornwall Under 20s side.

Talking about the signing, director of rugby Ian Davies said: "Neil is another bright prospect to come out of last season’s very successful Cornwall under 20s team.

"He has shown up well during our pre-season and will no doubt continue to develop over this season."
