WENDRON managed to keep their cool in a tense Andrew Cup Final on Thursday evening to bring home the trophy to Underlane.

The Division Three West side defeated Penzance seconds in the clash played at Mt Ambrose with just two runs separating the teams.

It is the fifth time Dron have claimed the Twenty20 title.

With 16 runs required off the last over to win, Penzance could only find 13 of them and finished on 116-9.

Man-of-the-match was awarded to Dron's skipper Tim Kitchen after he scored 20 not out to guide his side to their total of 118-6 before claiming two wickets for 23 in his five over spell.

Ryan Harris added 22 runs to Dron's innings and wickets were shared between Ryan Mitchell, three for 30, William Mitchell, two for 25, and Antony Harris, two for 27.
