CORNISH Rebels will start their 2015 league season with an away trip to Devon Sharks on May 16.

The rugby league side’s first home South West Premier League will be two weekends later when they face Plymouth Titans on May 31 before hosting Exeter Centurions seven days later.

Ahead of the league season, the Rebels will be defending their South West 9s crown on May 3 in Exeter.

Last year was a successful one for the side as they completed a clean sweep of trophies claiming the 9s, Challenge Cup and league titles.

It has been confirmed by the club they will be using Redruth’s Recreation Ground for their home games.

A club spokesman said: “We are delighted to confirm that following extremely positive conversations with Redruth RFC, we will continue to play our home games at the Rec in 2015.

“We wish to thank Jerry Penna and the club members for their continuing support and we look forward to a bright future that can fruitful for both clubs for many years to come.”

All home games kick-off at 2.30pm, unless otherwise stated.
