A DATE of Sunday May 24 has been set for the opening 2015 County of Origin clash between Cornwall and Devon at Redruth’s Recreation Ground.
The two sides will play for the Martin Roddy MBE Cup over a three game series as rugby league bosses in the South West look to continue the sport’s growth in the region.
In the last tussle between the counties, held in 2013, Cornwall won 36-26.
Tickets for the first match can be purchased with special early-bird bonuses by clicking onto www.crowdfunder.co.uk/origin with sponsorship packages also available.
Pledges can start from £5 for a ticket and a free gift, while prime sponsor spots on the Cornwall playing kit can be gained with £999.
