A STUNNING comeback from Camborne’s reserve team left Penryn Saracens gobsmacked on Saturday.

At half time the hosts were 26-7 up in the match at the Memorial Ground, with the visitor’s only score of the first 40 minutes coming right at the end as full-back Dean Pascoe got a try which Matt Downing converted.

This though seemed to wake up the Cherry and Whites and after the break they dominated play to bag another 34 unanswered points to make the final score 41-26 to them.

During the second half Camborne entered the Saracen’s goal area five times with lock Olly Reynolds leading the way with a brace of tries.

Their forwards had a successful half with hooker John Dower and number eight Martin Woolcock both dotting down.

Winger Jordan Trengove also got on the scoresheet before Downing, who ended the match with four conversions to his name, finished proceedings off with a drop goal.
