JAMES Salter’s six goal performance helped Culdrose Lynx Under 11s to a fantastic 8-2 win at home to Godolphin on Sunday.
The League Cup game saw a strong start by the hosts with Salter opening the scoring inside the first minute.
By half time the score was 5-0 with Nathan Holmes and Kieran Ludkin getting on the scoresheet once each while Salter completed his first hat-trick.
He would double his tally after the break to get Lynx’s total up to eight, while Godolphin did manage to bag a couple of consolation goals.
Lynx manager George McVey, pictured above with the team, said he was thrilled with his team’s performance.
“We were in complete control of the match from start to finish,” he said.
“All of the boys played brilliantly, showing great footballing skills throughout the match.”
