AFTER suffering loses to high flying Newquay Hornets and Illogan Park in their previous two games, Camborne School of Mines got back to winning ways on Saturday.

The students were able to record their second victory of their 2014/15 Tribute Cornwall One campaign thanks to a dominant second half performance over Perranporth.

Daniel Reaney ran in twice for CSM while Rhun Davies and Ben Karnezos got on the scoreboard too with tries as the hosts toppled the Brewers 35-10 at the Memorial Ground.

Their opponents provided a tough test in the first half as they scored all their points in the 40 minutes with a converted try from Dan Sheers before a penalty was added.

But after the break, CSM came back out and simply blew their counterparts away as they ran in the tries while the boot of Oliver Moriarty also added penalties to the tally.

CSM are fourth in the table after this win and have a trip to bottom placed Roseland next up.
