NORTH Petherton Acorns entertained Kingsmead from Wellington in their recent Taunton and District League Division Two match.
In the triples Judy Gardner/Barbara Heal/Brian Rixon lost 6-13, but Merv Selway/Dave Poole/Clem Gardner won by the odd shot, 7-6. In the pairs Judith Shackleford/June Woodman lost 8-9 and Eric Shackleford/Colin Gay won 9-5. Acorns just failed to take the bonus points for overall shots.
