Berrow 4, Stockwood Green 1

BERROW keep their two point lead at the top of the table thanks to a superb 4-1 win over Stockwood Green at the weekend.

The win extends their unbeaten league run to eight games with the team seeing three changes this week as Connor Watts, Phil Hartnup and Ellis Harper replaced Luke Morgan, Ash Catlow and Dax Vincent.

It was the perfect start for the home side as Ian Bellinger picked up the ball 40 yards from goal and beat four men before finishing from 12 yards.

That soon became 2-0 when a Harper flick allowed Watts to outpace the home defence and finish under the onrushing keeper.

Stockwood came into the match but were unable to create any clear cut chances as Berrow led 2-0 at the break.

Josh White opened the second half scoring with a thumping header into the top corner from a Luke McErlain corner before 4-0 came thanks to a good break from Harper led to a McErlain cross being tucked away at the back post by Bellinger.

Stockwood got a consolation goal at the end of the match.

Man of the match: Ian Bellinger

Team: Harrison, Gass, White, Marshfield (Catlow), John, Hartnup, McErlain (Vincent), Read, Bellinger, Watts (Morgan), Harper.
