FOOTBALL: Exeter City lose 3-0 at Northampton
Exeter City slipped to seventh in the League Two table yesterday following a 3-0 defeat at Northampton.
Adebayo Akinfenwa and Kelvin Langmead gave the Cobblers a 2-0 lead by the 39th minute.
Arron Davies and Jamie Cureton missed chances to bring Exeter back into the match either side of the break.
And a Northampton win was assured once Alex Nicholls headed in Chris Hackett's free-kick with six minutes remaining.
