Taunton Revolution maintained their league momentum with a 97-56 defeat of Bridport Evolution at Blackbrook Pavilion.

Taunton started strongly, helped along by captain Marc Eggleton who sank a trio of three-pointers from just four attempts in the first quarter.

Bridport took advantage of some lapses in Taunton’s play make a 10-0 run and leave the score close at the half-way stage.

But the home side stepped up their defence to hold Bridport to just 18 points in the second half and establish a comfortable winning margin.

Robin Boult was voted ‘most valuable player’.
