Weston and District League round up
BERROW Reserves suffered a disappointing 4-0 defeat in their Weston and District League Division One match with Clevedon United Reserves.
The result makes it a mixed start to the season for the team, who had beaten Nailsea United A 4-3 last week. They currently sit in mid table ahead of their home match to Winscombe Reserves this weekend.
In Division Two, Burnham United A drew 1-1 with Tickenham United thanks to Harry Wedgwood-Potts’ goal.
The team had a good pre-season but they will be glad to pick up their first league points after losing their opening league match last week.
They face Draycott Reserves in the cup on Saturday for a 2.30pm kick-off.
Division Three side Wedmore also suffered defeat as they fell 4-1 to Weston Super Seagulls in pursuit of their first points of the campaign.
Division Four side King Alfred Sports Centre had no game this week but will face Selkirk United Reserves this weekend.
Burnham United B were also without a game but they are at home to St George Easton in Gordano A on Saturday.
In Division Six, Wedmore Reserves drew 2-2 with Draycott Reserves. The team now have points on the board and currently sit in eighth place. They face Clapton in Gordano at home on Saturday.
