GOLF: Taunton Vale hold Texas Scramble
Kevin Lewis, A.J.Parker and Sid Mather teamed up to win the Somerset County Cars Texas Scramble with 59.1 at Taunton Vale Golf Club.
Dan Keitch, Neil Whisler and David Chesney were second with 59.7, and Dave Lock, James Keitch and Frank Penny third on 60.1.
Bob Perry with 41 points was the winner of the top division in Sunday’s Stableford, one ahead of Neil Whisler, who enjoyed the same advantage over Colin Warne (39).
Tony Snelling headed Division Two with 40 points. Paul McKinley was second with 38, while Terry Brown claimed third spot with 36 after countback.
