Morganians 10, Minehead 41

THIS was a disappointing start to the season for Morganians as Minehead ran amok in the second half to claim a 10-41 win.

Man of the match for the home side, Fotz Latu, opened the scoring with a fine try before Minehead scored two tries converting one of them.

Morganians replied with a try from Mike Winter after Royston Grimstead picked the ball up from the back of the ruck and passed on the blind side to put Winter through and the teams entered half time with the scores 10-12.

The second half proved a different affair as Minehead dominated proceeding to cruise to victory. There is no game for the team this weekend but they travel to Somerton in two weeks.
