Two games and two wins - perfect start for Chard Town
CHARD Town have made an impressive start to the 2012-13 season in Division One of the Toolstation Western League.
They made it two wins from two last night at Zembard Lane with a 4-0 thumping of Wellington.
This came just a few days after season's opener at home to Almondsbury UWE where goals from George Chlopecki and Liam Cleal gave the Robins a 2-1 victory.
Chard, albeit very early days, top the table.
They are back in action on Saturday when they play host to Ilfracombe Town at Zembard Lane in the extra preliminary round of the FA Cup. Kick-off is at 3pm.
