Burnham cricketer Brian Brogden plays for England vs Australia
A BURNHAM cricketer did his country proud when he represented England Over 60s in a match against Australia Over 60s.
Brian Brogden, who is a key member of the first team at the club, was part of the England team who ran out 91-run winners at Stroud Cricket Club.
He was run out for five chasing runs down the order as England posted 196-8 from their 50 overs and then turned on the magic with the ball to take 3-11 from his nine overs, the best of the England bowlers' figures as they dismissed the Aussies for 145 in the last over.
