ENMORE Park’s European Tour Professional David Dixon has been forced out of his latest tournament after suffering a bad back in the days leading up to the Lyoness Open in Austria.

Dixon withdrew before travelling to the venue after deciding his limited movement would not allow him to perform to the standard required.
After seeking medical advice, it seems his back issues may be linked to him picking up a virus which had left him feeling under the weather in recent weeks.

With the race for Ryder Cup places entering its final stages, Dixon now faces an extended spell without an event due to his current ranking.
He is hopeful of making the field for the Johnnie Walker Championship at Gleneagles in three weeks’ time when he hopes to be back healthy and fully fit for a big finish to his season.
