WITH the game nicely poised, the heavens decided to open and this Division Two encounter was called off with Winsford on 90-5 of 30 overs.
Stowey captain Steve Easden won the toss and had no hesitation in asking the home side to bat.
Opening bowler Micheal Barrow bowled 12 overs on the bounce and returned excellent figures of 2-23.
He was supported by fellow youngster Jack Rich, whose seven overs brought him 2-18 runs.
The game was called off during the tea interval, and the points were shared at ten apiece.
