Wembdon Academy 88-4 beat Uphill Castle Crusaders 84 by 6 wkts
SKIPPER Robert Paull won the toss and put Uphill in to bat on a slow surface and Uphill started well, reaching 40-2 with Max Syvret and Dan Buller taking a wicket apiece.
D. Morrish (2-7) bowled a tidy spell along with P. Cook (2-18), whose wickets included one bowled and a high boundary catch by Syvret, and R. Weber (2-9) before J. Chillingworth backed up his efforts in the field with the last wicket caught behind by L. Pigden.
In reply, Pigden (0 ), Paull (2) and Morrish (3) went early but R, Lee (35no) held things together with Weber (17no) to steer their team over the line with 12 overs remaining.
