FOOTBALL: Knights stay top of Soccer Pitch league

Taunton Knights stayed top of the Premiership table in the Soccer Pitch Taunton League with a 3-1 win over Nether Stowey Outlaws.

Ingram hit a great double during the game to keep them top of the table on goal difference from Heathfield Youths who fell to their first defeat in a surprising 8-3 defeat to Hardly Athletic.

A great team display from the Hardly lads eased their relegation worries.

Ohhh Yeahhh crushed Young Guns 15-1 to get their second win of the season. Sidebottom smashed in five to add to his season's goal tally.

IT already looks like a two-way battle at the top of the Championship in the Soccer Pitch Taunton League after Straight Edge and Inter both grabbed their fourth successive victories.

Straight Edge smashed Rizzlekicks 13-1 in a one sided affair. Stevens bagged himself four to keep them pretty at the top.

Inter strolled past Balotelli's Banter Bus 7-2 to maintain the pressure on Straight Edge, Hardy hit a match winning hat trick.

In the last game of the night Merry Monk only just edged past Sky Blue Rangers 7-4.

Cook scored three for Rangers but it was not enough to avoid defeat.
