RUGBY: Taunton Titans appoint operations manager

DAVE Webber has been appointed operations manager of Taunton Titans RFC.

With more than 120 1st XV appearances over nine years he knows well the workings at Hyde Park and joins coach Tony Yapp to head up Taunton's new approach to senior rugby.

Titans MD Chris Marsh said: “David is competent and experienced and has worked incredibly hard to put in place much of Titans’ new operational strategy and is the ideal man to press forward with the new and exciting approach Titans are taking to develop high quality rugby for our growing audience of supporters, sponsors and fans.”

Webber said he was impressed with the club’s ambition.

And he added: “Tony Yapp has assembled a great coaching team and a strong playing squad.”

Season tickets are about to go on sale with 140 VIP grandstand seats available to the public for all 15 National League fixtures.
