Annual Somerset Church Service date

THE 2012 Somerset CCC Annual Church Service will be taking place on Sunday, May 27, ahead of the CB 40 game against Hampshire on Gimbletts Hill, starting at noon.
The guest speaker at the service will be John Reed, the Archdeacon of Taunton,who has been playing clergy cricket for nearly 40 years and is a regular at the County Ground.
Rob Walrond, the SCCC Chaplain who will be in charge of the proceedings on Sunday, said: “I always enjoy the Somerset Church Service which over the years has always been well attended.
“Due to the current spate of injuries we will be including prayers for healing!”
If the weather is bad, the service will be transferred to the Long Room.
