STEPHEN Seymour clocked 40 points to win the Saturday Stableford at Burnham and Berrow golf club.

Stephen beat Colin Allsopp on countback and, as a result, won the Bradbeer Cup.

The prestigious trophy was first presented in 1996 by the widow of Fred Bradbeer, who had been a professional at Burnham.

It is awarded to the best Division 2 player in the 18 holes stableford competition.

In Division 1, the best scores were recorded by Gareth Rees and Roger Pople who both had 39 points, Gareth coming out ahead on countback. Standard scratch was 72.
