WILLAND Tennis Club's men are gearing up for the summer season by finishing the winter season with a flourish.
In their last three matches they have beaten Dulverton 8-1, Wellington A 8-1 and league winners Hemyock 7-2.
This has been accomplished while giving some of the club's top junior players match experience.
In particular the pairing of Jake Henson and Ben Snow are showing great promise.
Willand's Mixed team finished off a tough winter season with a hard fought 4-5 loss against high-flying Budleigh Salterton A.
Junior girls Becci Helliwell and Amie Roberts have contributed much during the season.
