GOLF: Beesley wins by ten shots
NATHAN Beesley scored a massive 50 points to win division two of The Hangover Trophy at Taunton and Pickeridge Golf Club.
He finished no fewer than ten shots clear of Iain Robertson.
Andy Avis produced a magnificent score of 42 points to see him finish three clear of Jonathan Street in division one.
Nat Pepperell was the winner of the mid-week Stableford with 44 points, three better than Roger Wallbutton.
In the ladies section Mary Jo Shepherd and Elaine Payne hit an outstanding 41 points in Foursomes format to take the top prize from Angela Hollis and Sheila Beresford who hit a very creditable 37.
Anne Thomas and Vi Gray were the Australian Spoons Winners with 35 points.
