JOS Buttler hit his maiden first class century as Somerset fought back in their Championship match against Hampshire at the Rose Bowl yesterday (Wednesday).
The ex-King's College student finished the day unbeaten on 105 as Somerset's first innings closed on 441-6, in reply to Hampshire's 512 all out.
Buttler's century was the second of the innings with James Hildreth scoring 106.
However, the game is almost certain to finish in a draw, with just one day remaining.
