YEOVIL Town officials have said this afternoon that the Huish Park pitch is “thawing out nicely” following the recent bad weather.

A club spokesman has told the Glovers’ official website that the pitch has coped with the recent snow and freezing temperatures.

“The pitch is bearing up well and with warmer weather forecast for Friday and Saturday, the big melt should continue,” he said.
