WANTING to continue their winning run in the West Women's League Sedgemoor Two, Vale went in search of points at Bridgwater.
The game started slowly with Vale having a considerable amount of the possession but lacking that final push.
Deservedly so, Vale took the lead with a well constructed team goal starting from inside their own 25 in which captain Samantha Dinham beat the keeper.
In the second-half Vale had a few shaky moments but defended to the last.
Dinham put Vale in a more comfortable position in the final 10 getting her second of the day and providing the final score line.
Player of the match was well spread in a good team performance but was won by Emma Davenport on her debut for the team.
