YEOVIL Town midfielder George O'Callaghan has been showing the kind of attitude that should make fans realise that he has plenty of determination.
O'Callaghan has lost his regular place in the starting line-up in recent months because of the form of fellow midfielders JP Kalala and Shaun MacDonald.
He has usually been left sitting on the bench or drafted into the side when either Kalala or MacDonald are unavailable.
Although nobody is disputing the fact that O'Callaghan's midfield colleagues have formed a tremendous partnership for the Glovers, that has not prevented the Irishman from knocking on the door of Yeovil boss Terry Skiverton and ask why he is not being selected.
O'Callaghan, speaking to the BBC, said: "I think he'd (Skiverton) be more worried if you weren't bothered about not playing.
"I want to be playing in every game."
O'Callaghan was drafted into the starting line-up for Yeovil's 1-0 victory over Southend United last Saturday because MacDonald was ruled out because of a dead leg.
But MacDonald is likely to be available again for tomorrow's clash with Charlton Athletic and it is expected that O'Callaghan will be forced back onto the bench.
But O'Callaghan added: "I understand the reasons why I wasn't playing, but hopefully I showed on Saturday against Southend enough reasons for me to be able to get back into the team again."
