YEOVIL Town have announced the signing of Scott Murray from Championship side Bristol City.
The experienced Scotsman can play either in midfield or up front and has joined the Glovers on a one-year contract.
He started his career as a teenager at Highland League club Fraserburgh where he spent four seasons before moving to Aston Villa in 1994.
But opportunities at Villa Park were limited though so he signed for Bristol City for the first time in 1997.
His five-and-a-half years at Ashton Gate saw him become a real fans favourite with his exciting wing play and impressive strike rate.
In July 2003, after scoring 27 goals the previous season, he secured a £650,000 move to Reading where he stayed for just nine months before returning to City.
Murray, who spent three months on loan at Cheltenham Town last season, has scored 99 senior goals and cannot wait to make it a century with Yeovil.
A Yeovil spokesman, talking to the club's official website, said: "Everyone at Yeovil Town would like to welcome Scott to the club and wishes him well in his stay at Huish Park."
