WILLITON hosted Taunton Deane and won on three rinks and drew the other to triumph by 27 shots, 67-40.
Scores: D. Wickens, A. Takel, G. Takel 15-10; K. Sellick, P. Gliddon, A. Wickens 15-10; B. Small, V. Buller, D. Lea 21-4; M. Ferris, B. Gliddon, E. Ferris 16-16.
Wellington's ladies were the visitors to Williton last Thursday, with the visitors winning two rinks and by six shots, 46-40.
Scores: D. Court, K. Sellick, A. Wickens 12-13; L. Lapam, J. Thorne, M. Husband 7-26; V. Buller, J. Jay, S. Canterbury 21-7.
Saturday saw the arrival of Crewkerne and the rain to Williton in the County League.
A full game was played and the rinks were shared, but Williton won by 14 shots, 69-55, to take nine points to Crewkerne's three.
