Cindy qualifies for big darts championship

CINDY Bradfield, member of a well-known darts-playing family in Bridgwater, will be representing Somerset in Saturday's BDO Gold Cup Darts Championship at the famous Lakeside Country Club in Frimley, Surrey.

She won the qualifying competition to decide Somerset's singles representative in the championships. Cindy plays in the Bridgwater Ladies' Darts League for Hope Inn and has won many competitions locally.

ALL teams in A Division of the Friday Mixed Summer Darts League please note that Crown Inn (C) have withdrawn and will become a bye on the fixtures' list.

B Div results: Sydenham Centre 7, British Legion 8; Sydenham Centre 4, Railway Club 11 (B Wilson 125, 100, L Hill 180).

IN THE Sedgemoor LVA Summer Darts League, Black Horse B and Crown Inn B have withdrawn from the men's divisions, while Crown B have pulled out of the mixed section.
