DOZENS of youngsters enjoyed a day they will never forget on Sunday as they trained with the Pakistan World Cup squad in Taunton.

Pakistan are preparing for Wednesday's sold out clash against Australia at the County Ground but took time out of their busy schedule to put on a session for 40 of Somerset County Cricket Club's junior members.

Ben Warren, Somerset CCC's digital executive, said: "The Pakistan team were absolutely amazing this afternoon inspiring stars of the future.

"It was a pleasure welcoming them to Taunton."

The session continued the feelgood factor which the World Cup has brought to the town, with the Fanzone proving popular with families on Saturday and Sunday.
