BURNHAM Utd brought their Somerset County Division 1 season to a close in emphatic style with a 6-0 home win against Minehead on Saturday.
Star of the match was Curtis Bradshaw, who scored five, while substitute Ben Windram added the other.
The victory leaves Burnham in 13th, well clear of the relegation zone, after a mixed season.
In Division 3, Burnham’s Reserves travelled to third-placed Hutton and were beaten 3-0.
In an inauspicious finish to the season, Thomas Clarke received his marching orders after picking up two yellow cards.
The defeat means Burnham finish in 10th place.
This Saturday is a big one for Burnham United A, who take on Lodway in the Bob Keyes Cup final.
The match, which is being held at the Grove Sports Centre in Nailsea, kicks off at 11.30am.
