THORNCOMBE have won the Division 1 title in the Perry Street & District League, by holding second-placed Perry Street & Yonder Hill Reserves to a thrilling 1-1 draw on Saturday.

A Perry Street win would have given them the title but Dave Hardie struck to cancel out a Steve Every goal and secure the silverware.

Waytown Hounds finished third on goal difference despite their 2-1 win at home to Uplyme.

Ollie Hoole and Zak Hawker won the day, with James Souter-Phillips replying.

Forton Rangers beat Misterton Res 5-2 while a Kieran Manley goal gave Ilminster Town Res a 1-1 draw at home to Hawkchurch.

In the Premier Division, champions South Petherton won 2-1 at Misterton, while Farway enjoyed a 5-1 win at home to Halstock.

Chinnock travelled to Pymore and came away with a 6-3 victory, Matt Gore (2) and Jed Holt scoring for the home side and Adam Priscott (2), Reece Lawrence, Liam Bennett, Graham Cochran and an OG cheering Chinnock.

South Petherton Res made it a club double by winning the Division 2 title after challengers Charmouth lost 4-3 at Donyatt Utd midweek, despite Tim Hussey’s hat-trick.

The derby between Dowlish Wake & Donyatt and Donyatt Utd ended in a 4-4 draw, Adam Payne (2), Nathan Doey and Sam Sheldrake were on target to Wake.

Chard Utd Res were at Chard Rangers and won 3-2 as Richard Hawker (2) and Mike Fisher found the net.

In Division 3, Farway Utd Res beat Chard Rangers Res 7-1, while Netherbury Res closed a tough season with a 4-3 win at home to Crewkerne Rangers A.

A Callum Smith strike won Ilminster Town B the Bill Bailey Trophy when they faced Netherbury Res at Beaminster last Wednesday.

South Petherton Res picked up the Jack Venn Trophy after winning a penalty shoot-out 4-1.

The game was goalless at full-time and 1-1 after extra-time, Mike Palmer scoring the Pethy.

Forton Rangers Res and Ilminster Town A played for the Tommy Tabberer Cup at Davey Fort and Forton scored the only goal of the game.
