CHARD Town have two Toolstation Western League games over the Easter period, writes Colin Dunford.

Tomorrow (Good Friday) they entertain Bishops Lydeard, with a noon kick-off at Zembard Lane.

Then, on Easter Monday, the Robins travel to Wincanton (ko 3pm).

Several players return for Chard, with goalkeeper Scott Wells-Burr recovered from a knee injury and defender Andy Holmes also back.

Striker James Boyland has surprisingly reported fit, when he was expected to be out for the season.

Fellow forward Steve Friend is also available.

The Robins will be looking to seal the ‘double’ over Bishops Lydeard, having won 3-2 away on Boxing Day.

When Chard met Wincanton at home in August it ended 2-2.

There is also football at Zembard Lane on Saturday, when Chard Reserves entertain promotion-seeking Kentisbeare in their final Macron Devon & Exeter League Division 1 game of the season (ko 3pm).
