CHARD Town are aiming to extend their unbeaten run to five matches tomorrow, as they host Chippenham Park at Zembard Lane (ko 3pm).

The Robins are fifth in the Toolstation Western League First Division table after Tuesday night's 0-0 draw at Portishead Town, whereas Chippenham are 19th (second from bottom).

Once again, though, Chard are beset with injuries and unavailability.

Although manager Jamie Manley is able to recall Ryan Parris and Steve Smith for tomorrow's fixture, he is without Ollie Pearson, Steve Friend and goalkeeper Scott Wells-Burr (all unavailable), while James Boyland and Joe Smith remain out injured.

He is likely to give a start to one of the club’s talented Under-18 side, while Reserves goalkeeper Alex Cunnold is expected to deputise for Wells-Burr.

With three forwards missing, Liam Cleal, who did well against Calne, and utility player Ryan Parris are expected to rival Reserves strikers Dan Collins and Christian Blango for a place up front.

Chard Reserves and Under-18s have no fixtures this week.

The match pits eighth against fifth, with four points between them in the Premier Division on the Somerset County League.

Division 3 of the County League sees ninth-placed Combe St Nicholas go to Burnham United Reserves, who are 11th, tomorrow (ko 3pm).

Ilminster Town Ladies, meanwhile, take on Torquay United at home on Sunday (ko 2pm).
