TONIGHT will see a large crowd flock to College Way for Bridgwater & Albion's derby match against North Petherton (ko 7.30pm).
The teams come into the fixture off the back of contrasting results, Albion losing 37-26 at Newent and Pethy squeezing past Teignmouth 19-16 last weekend.
The reverse fixture, at Beggars Brook back in November, was an entertaining affair which Pethy won 25-22.
Looking ahead to the game, Albion director of rugby Geoff Sluman said: “Both teams have been enjoying good form recently but league form tends to go out of the window during local derbies.
“Selection decisions will be difficult for us because we have got many players who are putting pressure on us to select them following good performances.
“That includes guys who missed out on 1st XV selection this week and who played for our 2nd XV, who also had another encouraging result on Saturday, beating Keynsham 2nds 71-12.”
Tomorrow, Albion and Pethy's 2nd XVs go head to head at Beggars Brook, in the Somerset 1 division.
In Somerset 2 South, meanwhile, Morganians travel to Minehead Barbarians 2nds.
