WEMBDON Junior FC have recently achieved the Charter Standard Development Club accreditation.
This is awarded to clubs who are committed to raising standards throughout grassroots football and Wembdon are one of a limited number of clubs that have achieved this in Somerset.
They were presented with their plaque at Wembdon Village Hall on Saturday morning, which also saw plenty of their youth teams in action at the Green.
Pictured in the above gallery are several Wembdon sides in addition to Bridgwater Wolves under-9s and Nether Stowey under-12s.
