PREPARATIONS are well underway for the visit of a Manchester United Legends team to Taunton in April.
The Red Devils will be up against a Taunton Town Legends side being assembled by FA Vase-winning captain Paul West and record appearance holder Tony Payne at the Viridor Stadium on Sunday, April 7.
Understandably, there has been plenty of interest in the fixture and Taunton Town have issued the following update regarding tickets for the match.
"Due to exceptional initial interest, Taunton Town Legends v Manchester United Legends tickets will only be available at Taunton Town matches," chairman Kevin Sturmey said.
"The club shop will be open from 1.30pm on Saturday, January 5 (Taunton Town v Dorchester Town) and 6.15pm on Wednesday, January 9 (Taunton Town v Beaconsfield Town) and paid entry to a Taunton Town league match is compulsory.
"Tickets are priced at £15 adults, £10 concessions and £5 for under 18s."
